Data Acquisition System

Data collected from the quarter scale Kristin rig

The main data acquisition system used by Stoneman Solutions is our SQLab II system which is used in conjunction with HEAD Acoustics Artemis Analyser software. SQLab II is a 24 bit, 30 channel system and is one of only two of its kind in the UK.

SQLab II was used on the offshore gas rig work to collect many hours of data from microphones and accelerometers positioned all over the rig. The system can also be used in noise surveys, allowing large amounts of data to be collected in a short time.

The real power of the system is the Artemis Analyser software in which the captured data can be viewed in the form of spectral graphs and films.
